Our Client is seeking an Audit Senior AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) .We are seeking an Audit Senior with 3+ years of public accounting experience and strong financial statement audit expertise. The ideal candidate has experience in serving architecture, engineering, construction, real estate, or other project-based businesses and is comfortable leading audit engagements from planning through reporting. This individual will supervise staff, evaluate internal controls, perform risk assessments, research complex accounting matters, and serve as a key client contact throughout the engagement process.
Requirements
- CPA preferred or actively pursuing certification
- 3+ years of public accounting audit experience
- Experience auditing AEC, construction, engineering, architecture, real estate, or other project-driven companies
- Experience reviewing staff work and mentoring junior team members
- Strong financial statement audit and internal controls background
- Understanding of percentage-of-completion accounting, job costing, revenue recognition, and project accounting concepts
- Strong client-facing communication and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines simultaneously
- Hybrid work flexibility with some local client travel
