Our Client is seeking a Workday Analyst responsible for system configuration, testing, reporting, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts across HR technology platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms across areas including Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, Employee Self-Service, Learning, and Workforce Management
- Configure, test, validate, and deploy system enhancements, updates, and process improvements
- Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
- Manage system access, security roles, and user permissions
- Evaluate HR and payroll processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and automation
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and IT stakeholders to design and implement system solutions that align with business objectives
- Document business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications for system enhancements and new initiatives
- Participate in cross-functional projects focused on operational excellence and digital transformation
- Develop, maintain, and distribute routine and ad hoc reports to support workforce planning and business decision-making
- Support audit activities by ensuring accurate record management and reporting practices
- Create and maintain user documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials
- Facilitate system training sessions and assist with user adoption of new functionality and business processes
- Support HR system integrations and interfaces with internal and third-party applications
- Assist with testing activities, quality assurance efforts, and system implementation projects
- Research emerging HR technology trends and recommend innovative solutions that drive operational effectiveness
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
- 2+ years of experience supporting HRIS, HCM, ERP, or People Systems environments
- Experience with platforms such as Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle HCM, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar systems
- Knowledge of HR operations including payroll, benefits, compensation, workforce administration, and employee lifecycle processes
- Experience with system configuration, reporting, troubleshooting, testing, and process improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- HRIS, HCM, or HR Technology certification
- Experience supporting public sector or highly regulated environments
- Advanced reporting and data analysis experience
- Experience participating in large-scale HR systems implementations or upgrades
