We are seeking a Customer Tech Ops Lead to own the engineering interface between our platform and customers, including customer integrations, onboarding pipelines, internal operations tooling, and production support for customer-facing systems.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical depth with people management. You will lead and develop a small engineering team in India while remaining closely involved in system design, implementation, and operational excellence.
In addition, you will help establish strong engineering standards and practices, bringing a disciplined approach to code quality, documentation, incident management, and operational reliability within a growing team.
Roles and Responsibilities :
– Design, build, and maintain customer data integrations and ETL pipelines
– Lead implementation and technical onboarding for new customers
– Build internal operations tools including workflow automation, ticket triage, and internal portals
– Own production support and participate in on-call for customer-facing systems
– Ensure SLA compliance and maintain high data quality across ingestion pipelines
– Lead and grow a team of 24 engineers over the next 12 months
– Establish strong engineering standards including code reviews, documentation, on-call discipline, and postmortems
Required Skills :
– 812 years of engineering experience with strong hands-on coding skills
– Experience in a scaled tech company or strong engineering organization
– Proven experience building and shipping internal tools and production systems
– Experience hiring and managing engineering teams in India
– Daily use of AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent
– Comfortable working across multiple technologies with AI assistance (Angular, Python, .NET)
Nice to Have :
– Azure infrastructure experience
– Background in SaaS or B2B enterprise, particularly around customer data integrations
– Analytics or data platform experience pipelines, data modelling, data quality
