Our Client  is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst .

Responsibilitites:

• Ensure accuracy of financial statements
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare/review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis
• Support audit requests and provide documentation to external auditors
• Assist with technical accounting matters (ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 842 lease accounting)
• Support financial reporting and consolidation activities
• Analyze account activity, research discrepancies, and identify process improvements
• Utilize Excel for reporting and analysis (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs) and learn proprietary systems

Requirements

• 5+ years accounting experience (willing to look at someone with 4 years but must have strong technical accounting experience)
• Strong revenue recognition experience (ASC 606 preferred)
• Contract review experience
• Experience determining gross vs. net revenue
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables)
• Experience with reporting tools such as Power Query and Tableau
