Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Testing Analyst to support a secure payments initiative focused on behavioral analytics and fraud detection. This role will play a key part in validating both API and user interface functionality, ensuring high-quality delivery across a complex, data-driven platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and technical requirements to develop effective test strategies and test cases
- Design, execute, and maintain manual and API test cases across multiple systems
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar platforms
- Conduct user interface (UI) testing to validate end-user workflows and functionality
- Identify, document, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to resolve issues
- Support end-to-end testing efforts across secure payment and fraud detection systems
- Query and validate data using SQL Server
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Software Testing
- Solid analytical and critical thinking skills
- Hands-on experience querying databases (SQL Server)
Strong experience with:
- API testing (Postman or similar tools)
- UI testing
- Requirements analysis and test design
- Test execution and defect management
- Atlassian JIRA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in payments or financial services environments
- Exposure to secure payment systems or fraud/behavioral analytics tools
- Familiarity with QA metrics and reporting
- Experience with qTest or similar test management tools
