Our Client is seeking a Production Technician to join their team in the assembly, integration, and testing of satellite components.
Responsibilities:
- Support small electrical sub-assemblies and perform mechanical/electrical assembly of satellite components, sub-assemblies, and final vehicle integrations
- Support PCB assemblies into product chassis
- Support battery cell modules, solar modules, and solar arrays
- Support conformal coating, masking, epoxy application, and related processes
- Conduct testing of built hardware, including setup, instrumentation, execution, and teardown
- Support the development of prototype test capabilities and life tests
- Assist in identifying, and implementing test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
- Perform test setups across various regimes, including thermal, shock, thermal vacuum, and vibration
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent
- Associate degree
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working in an electro-mechanical manufacturing company, a precision manufacturing company, or high-volume manufacturing company
- 1+ years of hands on work experience
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists
- Able to proficiently use a PC, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with electrical wiring
- Experience setting up and running tests and experiments
