Our Client is seeking a Payroll Manager .
Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Manage payroll tax filings, garnishments, benefits deductions, and year-end processing (W-2s)
- Ensure payroll records are accurate and confidential while resolving payroll discrepancies in a timely manner
- Partner with HR and Finance to maintain employee data and support audits
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and ensure compliance with company policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
- 5+ years of payroll experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll processing, payroll tax regulations, and labor laws
- Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, UKG, or Paylocity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
