Our Client is seeking a Machine Operator .This role is responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of printing, shipping, and mail processing equipment, including digital presses, wide-format printers, cutting machines, binders, postage systems, and delivery vehicles. The position handles in-house mail distribution, shipping logistics, inventory management, equipment maintenance tracking, and reporting, while ensuring quality control and efficient production of printed materials. The individual will also support internal teams with special projects, coordinate with vendors, perform local deliveries and pickups, and maintain accurate records related to print jobs, inventory, and equipment upkeep.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in shipping and printing operations
- Experience operating digital printing and finishing equipment, such as digital presses/copiers, wide-format printers, cutters, binders, folders, and postage machines
- Experience with inventory management, supply ordering, record keeping, and maintaining spreadsheets and reports
- Knowledge of shipping and mail processing, including UPS, USPS (domestic and international), packaging, distribution, and freight shipments
- Ability to operate warehouse and delivery equipment such as pallet jacks, lift trucks, paper cutters, and company delivery vehicles
- Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance, coordinate vendor service visits, and track maintenance contracts
