Our Client is seeking a Junior Administrative Assistant.

Key Tasks:

  • Provides administrative support to a department or individual; Duties may include word processing, filing, faxing, answering phones, receiving and directing visitors, scheduling, financial record keeping, coordinating meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies and sorting/distributing mail; May work on special projects
  • Provides intermediate working knowledge of all Enterprise Learning Center of Excellence (ELCOE) processes applicable to Delivery, Development, and Planning as it pertains to support of learning events
  • Supports the ELCOE curriculum, facility configurations, learning paths, and ensures communication of the operational processes with all business partners and customers
  • Schedules learning events as provided through the planning and request definition processes
  • Performs moderately complex work assignments to support other team members
Creating the presentations/reports for:
  • Primarily departmental managers, directors and Executive Direction
  • ED will likely use data to draft responses to higher level executives
How many/how often are they creating presentations:
  • Depends, on average, weekly (sometimes more, some less depending on current demands)
Requirements
  • 2 or more years of administrative, analysis and/or resourcing experience
  • Experience building reports and presentations in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite and advanced knowledge of data analysis and associated tools
How advanced does this candidate need to be in Excel & PowerPoint:
  • Excel: Able to understand and create pivot tables, basic formulas with minimal oversight (average, sum, etc.)
  • PPT: Create presentations that are clean, easy to follow, pulling information/data from other sources and follow required branding
Experience with:
  • Pulling/Reviewing reports and able to identify outliers, trends and gaps; Then communicate effectively
  • Using problem solving skills to identify and/or create processes to meet departmental needs
  • Attention to detail is imperative
  • Strong communication skills and organizational skills are essential
