Our Client is seeking a Financial Analyst to support management reporting, financial analysis, and operational decision-making during a major financial systems transition. This individual will partner with finance and operational leaders to analyze financial performance, identify key trends, and provide reporting that supports business and patient care objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analyst will prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc management reports
- Perform variance analysis and investigate financial performance fluctuations
- Analyze departmental and organizational financial data to identify trends and opportunities
- Research and explain budget-to-actual and period-over-period variances
- Support finance operations during an ongoing financial system transition
- Learn and apply new account structures, financial coding, and reporting requirements
- As a Financial Analyst, you will develop and maintain Excel-based financial models, reports, and dashboards
- Partner with stakeholders to fulfill reporting requests and provide actionable financial insights
- Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 1-3 years of Financial Analyst, FP&A, Accounting, or related finance experience
- Strong financial reporting and variance analysis experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, financial modeling, and large dataset analysis
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to changing priorities
