A blockchain is a digital ledger that is spread across numerous locations and institutions. These records or blocks link together in such a manner that it cannot be changed, thereby making it permanent. Blockchain technology has now been taken from the boundaries of cryptocurrency start-ups, grudgingly among other legal financial institutions.

Two types of blockchain developers are primarily considered- core developers and application developers. The architecture of blockchain systems is designed and maintained by core developers, who create system protocols, supervise the network, and develop its security patterns. Applications developers (software developers) create software applications to run on blockchain platforms.
