Our Client is seeking a BI Business Analyst/Junior Power BI Developer .
Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements and translate them into reporting and dashboard solutions
- Write SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources
- Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports
- Connect and integrate data from various systems, including healthcare and Epic-related data sources
- Identify trends, KPIs, operational metrics, and opportunities for process improvement
- Perform data validation and troubleshooting to ensure reporting accuracy
- Partner with business users to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights
- Create ad hoc reports and recurring reporting solutions
- Document reporting processes, calculations, and dashboard logic
- Assist with data modeling and understanding relationships between complex data tables
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of experience as a BI Analyst, Business Intelligence Developer, Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role
- Strong Power BI experience and proven ability to develop dashboards independently
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions
- Working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write queries and join data across multiple tables
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and own projects from data extraction through dashboard delivery
