Our Client is seeking a hybrid opportunity for a Cost/Inventory Accountant with 2-4 years of Public Accounting Audits with manufacturing/inventory audit clientele. Responsibilities:

• Supports established products and helps with newly launched products
• Will help with process improvements, reporting automation, and enhanced business insights
• Cost development with regards to materials, finished goods, and packaging
• Will assist with purchase price variances, and inventory variances
• Monitor inventory balances/valuation, obsolescence, inventory tracking files and manufacturing cost documentation
• Support monthly close activities related to inventory, manufacturing, and supply chain accounting
• Maintain financial controls for inventory and cost accounting processes
• Support quarterly reviews and annual audit activities
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
• Assist in maintaining audit-ready inventory and cost accounting files
• Support annual physical inventory planning, execution, and reconciliation activities
• Assist with Customs valuation reporting and compliance requirements
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, SOX controls, and records retention requirements
• Automate and/or identify opportunities to reduce manual activities and improve close efficiency
• Will work with other departments and collaborate with Supply Planning, Quality, Technical Operations, Procurement, Tax, Treasury, Corporate Accounting
