We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with hands-on development exposure to help bring structure, clarity, and delivery rigor to a growing technical team. This role is ideal for someone who is not a traditional, administrative only PM, but instead can work closely with developers, understand the technical landscape, and actively guide execution using Agile/Scrum practices. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for driving project planning, defining milestones and deliverables, improving Scrum execution, and ensuring cross functional alignment across technical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Agile/Scrum project execution, ensuring ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) are effectively implemented and followed
- Establish and maintain project structure, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables
- Partner closely with developers to translate business requirements into actionable technical work
- Track progress, risks, blockers, and dependencies; Proactively escalate and resolve issues
- Support backlog grooming, sprint prioritization, and release planning
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring clarity, transparency, and accountability
- Contribute light technical support as needed (code reviews, troubleshooting, solution discussions)
Requirements
- 2-3+ years of experience in technical project management, Scrum Master, or hybrid PM/developer roles
- Hands-on experience working with software development teams
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and software delivery lifecycles
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in an evolving environment where processes are still being refined
- Willingness to be onsite in Orlando at least 3 days per week (non negotiable)
Technical Environment: Exposure to or working knowledge of the following is strongly preferred:
- Low code/analytics platforms: Mendix, Alteryx
- Data & scripting: Python, Snowflake
- BI & visualization: Tableau, Power BI
- Automation concepts: RPA/UiPath (high level understanding)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Scrum Master, PMP, or Agile certifications (preferred, not required)
- Exposure to RPA initiatives or automation projects
- Interest in emerging AI enabled or data driven project work
