We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead Java Spring Boot to design, develop, and scale enterprise-grade backend platforms and distributed systems.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, cloud-native technologies, and scalable backend engineering. This role requires hands-on technical leadership experience in building resilient, high-performance systems within fast-paced product or enterprise technology environments.

Candidates with experience in fintech, banking, payments, or large-scale enterprise platforms will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

Backend Architecture & Development :

– Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

– Architect and implement microservices-based distributed systems for high-volume enterprise applications.

– Build robust APIs, asynchronous services, and event-driven backend platforms.

– Ensure system scalability, reliability, security, and performance optimization.

Technical Leadership :

– Lead architecture discussions, technical solutioning, and engineering design reviews.

– Drive engineering best practices across :

1. Code quality

2. Design patterns

3. System architecture

4. Performance optimization

5. Secure development

– Mentor and guide engineering teams on backend development and scalable system design.

Distributed Systems & Scalability :

– Build and optimize distributed architectures leveraging :

1. Microservices

2. Messaging systems

3. Event-driven architecture

4. High-concurrency processing

– Improve application resiliency, observability, and fault tolerance.

Cloud & DevOps :

– Work with cloud-native infrastructure and containerized environments.

– Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.

– Collaborate with DevOps teams for :

1. Kubernetes orchestration

2. Infrastructure scalability

3. Monitoring & alerting

4. Production deployments

Database & Performance Engineering:

– Design and optimize database interactions for high-performance systems.

– Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to support scalable enterprise applications.

– Implement caching, query optimization, and performance tuning strategies.

Collaboration & Delivery :

– Collaborate closely with :

1. Product Teams

2. Architects

3. Engineering Teams

4. QA Teams to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

– Participate in sprint planning, technical roadmap discussions, and release execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

– 7 to 10 years of experience in backend engineering and enterprise application development.

– Strong hands-on expertise in :

1. Java

2. Spring Boot

3. Microservices Architecture

4. Distributed Systems

– Strong understanding of :

1. REST APIs

2. Event-driven systems

3. Scalable backend architecture

4. High-concurrency applications

– Experience building large-scale backend systems in product or enterprise environments.

– Experience leading engineering teams and driving technical initiatives.
