As a Strategic Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in acquiring and expanding relationships with large enterprise organizations, including private equity (PE) firms and investment companies. Reporting directly to our VP of Sales, this senior-level position focuses on driving complex, high-value deals with top-tier companies in the construction industry and beyond.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead Complex Sales Cycles:Â Manage prospects from initial engagement to close, navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise deals with deal sizes of $1M+ ARR.
- Engage with High-Value Accounts:Â Build and deepen relationships with large enterprises and investment firms, driving strategic partnerships and revenue growth in the form of renewlas.
- Showcase BuildOps Value: Clearly articulate and demonstrate value proposition, focusing on ROI and transformative impact for large-scale organizations.
- Develop Account-Based Strategies:Â Partner with SDR, Sales Engineering, and other go-to-market teams to craft tailored strategies for high-potential accounts.
- Collaborate with PE and Investment Firms:Â Work closely with private equity and investment firms to uncover portfolio-wide opportunities and position BuildOps as a strategic partner.
- Drive Market Expertise:Â Stay informed about industry trends and the evolving needs of large commercial contractors, leveraging insights to create compelling narratives for prospects.
- Meet and Exceed Goals: Consistently achieve revenue targets while establishing as a trusted advisor in the strategic space.
- Travel:Â You will be expected to travel 25% of the time to meet with customers
What We Look For:
- Senior Sales Experience:Â 6+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, with a track record of closing seven-figure deals.
- Complex Sales Expertise:Â Demonstrated success managing multi-stakeholder, high-value sales processes, preferably with Fortune 500 or investment-backed organizations.
- Industry Knowledge:Â Familiarity with the construction, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical contractor space is a significant advantage.
- PE and Investment Firm Experience:Â Experience working with private equity or investment firms is a major plus.
- Results-Driven:Â Proven ability to consistently exceed revenue targets of $1M+ ARR.
- Exceptional Communication:Â Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to influence C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Technical Acumen:Â Comfortable leading technical demos and aligning solutions with customer challenges.
