We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer II to join a high-performing tech-driven environment, contributing to scalable systems and impactful product development. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing robust technical solutions aligned with business needs, while maintaining high engineering standards and sustainable development practices.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, prioritize, and deliver software solutions across a modern tech ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development
- Build scalable backend applications using Java and modern frameworks
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices
- Refactor and improve codebases with design patterns
- Ensure high-quality standards through test automation and testing strategies
- Maintain data security, integrity, and quality
End-to-End Ownership
- Own services throughout their lifecycle (development → production → monitoring)
- Monitor performance and system health; act on incidents proactively
- Contribute to documentation (runbooks, operational processes)
- Improve system resilience and reduce operational risks
Incident Management
- Resolve production issues within SLA
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions
- Contribute to incident tracking and postmortems
Architecture & Design
- Contribute to architecture decisions and system design
- Evaluate trade-offs considering business, cost, and scalability
- Support improvements in technical capabilities and system evolution
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and drive process and technical optimizations
- Apply engineering practices such as prototyping and experimentation
- Promote best practices across the team
Communication
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate effectively across teams
- Actively engage in discussions and knowledge sharing
Required Skills
- Strong Java backend development expertise
- Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architecture
- Solid knowledge of AWS
- Experience with CI/CD and production environments
- Strong understanding of testing and quality practices
- Experience with Generative AI or AI-driven projects
