Our Client Currently looking for Software Engineer (C+ / Linux)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core IoT hub services running on embedded Linux
• Build long-running C++ services and daemons for production environments
• Design and maintain networking and IP-based communication layers
• Implement and support commissioning and onboarding flows at hub level
• Integrate and configure embedded Linux platforms in collaboration with hardware teams
• Troubleshoot system-level issues related to performance, stability, and connectivity
• Contribute to secure communication concepts and hub-side trust management

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong C++ experience (modern C++ in embedded Linux environments)
• Solid experience with embedded Linux as a primary runtime platform
• Experience developing system-level services, middleware, or daemons
• Good understanding of IP networking (IPv4 / IPv6, TCP / UDP)
• Experience with Yocto Project or similar embedded Linux build systems
• Familiar with cross-compilation, toolchains, and Linux image configuration
• Comfortable working with Git and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have

• Experience with IoT hubs, gateways, or edge platforms
• Background in commissioning, provisioning, or lifecycle management
• Experience in production-grade embedded platforms
