We are seeking a professional and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our automotive workshop team. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring a seamless service experience from vehicle reception to delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong automotive knowledge, and the ability to coordinate effectively with customers, technicians, and workshop management to deliver high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Welcome customers professionally and understand their service requirements.
- Create accurate job cards based on customer concerns and vehicle inspection findings.
- Prepare service estimates and quotations for customer approval.
- Obtain customer authorization before commencing repairs or additional work.
- Coordinate with technicians and the Workshop Supervisor to ensure efficient workflow and timely job completion.
- Provide regular updates to customers regarding repair status, progress, and estimated completion times.
- Prepare, review, and explain invoices clearly upon service completion.
- Promote workshop services, including tyres, batteries, A/C services, and preventive maintenance packages.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and ensure prompt resolution.
- Collect customer feedback and support customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and customer information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive workshop or dealership.
- Strong knowledge of automotive services and basic vehicle systems.
- Excellent customer service and client relationship management skills.
- Good communication skills in English; language skills are an advantage.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including job card systems, invoicing software, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to explain technical issues and repair recommendations in a clear and professional manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment.
- Experience in a multi-brand workshop or dealership environment is preferred.
