We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable, cloud-native applications hosted on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend development using Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, along with deep experience in building high-performance distributed systems and working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
In this role, you will be expected to provide technical leadership, drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.
What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native solutions on AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Drive architecture discussions and technical decisions for new features and platform enhancements.
• Design and optimize data models, queries, and integrations across PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB environments.
• Develop event-driven and asynchronous processing solutions using modern distributed system patterns.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Perform code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and provide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, performance bottlenecks, and scalability challenges.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation, architectural designs, and operational runbooks.
• Champion software engineering best practices, including testing, API governance, security, and DevOps methodologies.
