Our Client in need of a Senior Procurement Operations & Sourcing .
Responsibilities:
- Lead sourcing and procurement activities for assigned categories, including competitive bidding, supplier analysis, and market research
- Develop and execute negotiation strategies that support business goals, cost savings, and long-term supplier relationships
- Identify and deliver cost reduction, value creation, and spend optimization opportunities
- Develop category strategies and initiatives that improve procurement performance and operational efficiency
- Evaluate market trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging procurement practices to identify new opportunities
- Build productive relationships with vendors, business leaders, and key stakeholders
- Partner with Legal, Finance, Risk, Purchasing, and other teams throughout the sourcing and contracting lifecycle
- Support supplier negotiations, contract management, third-party oversight, and spend management activities
- Recommend and implement process improvements that strengthen procurement and vendor management practices
- Manage sourcing projects within established timelines and budgets while monitoring risks and deliverables
- Provide stakeholders and leadership with clear updates on sourcing activities, potential risks, and expected outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, supply chain, or a related discipline
- Proven experience managing competitive sourcing and supplier negotiation activities
- Experience conducting supplier, market, spend, and benchmarking analyses
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving multiple business stakeholders
- Strong understanding of category management, procurement, contracting, and third-party management processes
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage risks, priorities, budgets, and deadlines
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities
- Demonstrated ability to identify savings opportunities and deliver measurable value through sourcing initiatives
- Ability to work independently, quickly learn new business areas, and drive initiatives through completion
