Our Client is seeking a Senior Print Press Technician to support R&D development activities for large-scale Digital Web Presses in a fast-paced engineering environment. This role involves operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electro-mechanical equipment while partnering closely with engineers to support testing, upgrades, and development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain industrial Digital Web Presses and test equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, software, and firmware-related issues
- Install hardware and software upgrades
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment modifications
- Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Support manufacturing and assembly activities
- Work independently to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues

Requirements
- AA/AS degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Hands-on electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude who enjoys solving complex equipment issues and collaborating with engineers in an innovative R&D environment
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) knowledge
- Experience troubleshooting equipment and test tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced R&D environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with firmware qualifications, upgrades, and revisions
- Familiarity with scripting, test tools, or programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, Linux, SQL, TCL, or similar technologies
- Experience supporting automated test systems and industrial equipment
