Our Client is seeking a Senior Observability Engineer .
Responsibilities:
- Senior Observability Engineer will design, implement, and support enterprise monitoring and observability solutions for applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments
- Develop and maintain automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions to improve platform efficiency and scalability
- Create monitoring, alerting, and performance management strategies that enhance system reliability and operational visibility
- Support incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement efforts
- Partner with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to drive observability best practices and adoption
- As a Senior Observability Engineer, you will lead platform modernization initiatives and support the implementation of new monitoring capabilities
- Develop technical standards, documentation, and governance processes for monitoring and operational excellence
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance across engineering teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, systems monitoring, observability, or infrastructure support
- Strong background in automation, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance management solutions
- Experience supporting cloud-based and hybrid technology environments
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering and operations teams
- Knowledge of application performance monitoring, telemetry, and operational analytics concepts
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and incident management skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Ability to drive technical improvements, establish standards, and support large-scale technology initiatives
