The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Go Developer who is a master of building high-performance, concurrent backend systems. In this role, you will join one of Proxify’s high-growth client teams to architect and scale modular services that handle complex business logic at high velocity.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development, with at least 3 years focused heavily on Golang.
• Deep understanding of Go’s concurrency primitives, including race conditions, sync packages, and context management.
• Proven experience designing Microservices and distributed systems using patterns like CQRS or Event Sourcing.
• Expertise in building gRPC and RESTful APIs; experience with Protobuf is a must.
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL or MySQL, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and handling migrations.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience implementing logging, tracing (OpenTelemetry), and monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana).
• Intermediate-advanced English level.
• Located in CET timezone (+/- 3 hours), we are unable to consider applications from candidates in other time zones.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like Redis or MongoDB.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable Go services from scratch or enhance existing modular systems.
• Audit and optimize code for CPU and memory efficiency, ensuring low-latency response times.
• Lead peer code reviews and establish coding standards to ensure high-quality, idiomatic Go code.
• Work with DevOps to manage containerized deployments and ensure services are resilient in production.
• Partner with Product and Frontend teams to define clear service interfaces and data contracts.
