We are seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager in Hollywood, FL to oversee all aspects of residential construction projects from planning through completion. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of residential development initiatives, coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders while ensuring compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, budgets, and schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage residential construction projects throughout all phases of planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of architects, engineers, consultants, and general contractors
  • Ensure compliance with Florida Building Code requirements and organizational policies, procedures, and standards
  • Review and administer contracts, purchase orders, procurement activities, project budgets, and billing processes
  • Monitor project schedules, costs, quality, and overall performance to ensure successful project delivery
  • Facilitate bidding, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and contractor management activities
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to verify construction progress, quality standards, and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve project issues and mitigate risks
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, and records throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to established specifications
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in construction management, site development, procurement, bidding, contract administration, negotiation, and project execution
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience may be considered
  • Current Florida General Contractor (GC) License required or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License required
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, project management methodologies, and building code requirements
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Residential development and construction experience
  • Experience managing large-scale, multi-phase construction projects
  • Strong vendor and contractor management experience
  • Proficiency with project management and construction management software
