We are looking for a Senior Accountant . This role is primarily focused on performing general ledger account reconciliations, resolving outstanding items, and preparing monthly journal entries. Additionally, the Senior Accountant may support broader accounting and financial reporting activities, as well as participate in ad hoc projects as needed. Responsibilities also include assisting with the tracking and follow-up of unclaimed property items.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- CPA certification or progress toward certification is preferred
- At least 5 years of proven experience in an accounting or audit role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex functions and data analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational abilities with a demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and effectively with limited oversight
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) General Ledger is a plus
- Familiarity with BlackLine or similar account reconciliation tools is preferred
