We are looking for a Retail Sales Operations & Category Analyst for a contract opportunity. The Retail Sales Operations & Category Analyst will provide ongoing Sales Operations, Category Management, Item Management, and Market Development support for a client’s program activities. Services include product data maintenance, reporting, promotion administration, store project coordination, and cross-functional support across multiple business systems and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain product master data, including UPC setup, audits, and item lifecycle updates
- Generate, validate, and distribute sales, category, and business performance reporting
- Provide analytical and operational support to ADUSA Category Management teams
- Develop insights and recommendations through business reporting and trend analysis
- Set up, monitor, and track promotional and pricing deals
- Coordinate market development activities, including store installations, remodels, and closures
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent work experience required; Analytics and/or Business degree preferred
- Must be familiar with and have access to key Ahold systems to execute this work; In-house and remotely; Ahold to provide PC and ensure regular access in office and remote
- In lieu of Ahold experience, ideal candidates should have experience with IDW
- Experience building sales and customer trend reporting
- Project management experience a plus
- Must have a high attention to detail and self-starter mentality
