As a Production Support Engineer, you will be a part of our rapidly growing IT department. You will actively collaborate with other teams and work in the production environment support, for financial applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the production environment, with a focus on critical systems such as payment services, client interfaces, and trading platforms
• Participate in incident management, including handling P1/P2 incidents, escalation, and coordination with internal teams
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and contribute to post-incident reviews
• Investigate and resolve production issues across multiple services and environments
• Report bugs and issues to development teams and resolve support tickets when possible
• Configure systems, fix operational issues, and perform data and performance analysis
• Work with monitoring, logs, and alerts to proactively detect and diagnose problems
• Automate routine operational tasks and improve support processes
• Collaborate with product, development, payments, and external vendors when required
• Communicate technical issues clearly, including business impact and status updates

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Production Support / Technical Support / Site Reliability
• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience using MySQL and/or PostgreSQL, including:
• data validation and investigations
• performance and incident-related queries
• basic understanding of locks, slow queries, and replication
• Experience working with monitoring and observability tools, such as:
• Grafana (dashboards, alerts)
• log aggregation systems (e.g. Graylog, Kibana, Elasticsearch)
• Basic programming or scripting skills (Python, Node.js) a plus
• General understanding of CI/CD processes and containerized environments (Docker)
• Experience supporting high-availability, production-critical systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive mindset and ownership mentality
