The Product Engineer I is responsible for developing product design concepts and detailed engineering drawings in support of research and development initiatives. This role supports the development of advanced engineered products for a range of applications, including vehicle systems, aerospace components, and infrastructure-related technologies. This position also assists with procurement, build, integration, and testing of prototype and production-ready products. Testing may include functional, environmental, or performance-based evaluations. Additionally, the role is responsible for generating technical documentation to support design reviews, requirements tracking, and engineering analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and detail new products and technologies using SolidWorks

Create and maintain technical documentation, including:

• Design reviews
• Trade studies
• Test plans and reports
• Support procurement, build, and integration of development and production hardware
• Assist in product testing and validation activities
• Maintain and support existing production products
• Contribute to engineering support for bids and proposals
