Our Client is seeking a Principal Hardware Design Engineer to play a key role in the development of complex digital hardware systems from initial concept through production. In this position, you will join a highly collaborative engineering team and play a critical part in designing advanced products used globally. This position involves solving complex engineering challenges, making significant individual technical contributions, and guiding other engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development of complex digital hardware systems from concept through full product lifecycle
- Make significant hands-on technical contributions in high-speed digital and PCB design
- Drive architecture, design decisions, and technical direction for challenging hardware projects
- Develop detailed design specifications and documentation
- Mentor and guide junior engineers while fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- 8+ years of experience in digital hardware design and PCB design
- Proven experience designing complex digital hardware products across the entire product lifecycle, from concept through production
- Experience developing detailed technical specifications and design documentation
- Strong expertise in high-speed digital design
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers
