We are seeking a detail-oriented Prevailing Wage Compliance Specialist to support construction projects subject to federal and state labor compliance requirements. This role is responsible for reviewing certified payroll, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with prevailing wage and apprenticeship regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and review certified payroll reports for completeness and accuracy
- Verify wage classifications, fringe benefits, and labor hours
- Coordinate with subcontractors to resolve missing or inconsistent documentation
- Track and maintain organized compliance records by project
- Support apprenticeship compliance and documentation requirements
- Assist with audit preparation and respond to third-party compliance requests
- Partner with project teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in prevailing wage, certified payroll, or construction compliance
- Working knowledge of Davis-Bacon Act and related regulations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel and document management systems
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
