Our Client is seeking an experienced Mexico Payroll Implementation Consultant/Lead to support a payroll transformation and implementation initiative involving Mexican payroll operations. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert for Mexico payroll while partnering with Payroll, HR, Finance, IT, external vendors, and implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle. Remote candidates strongly considered.
Responsibilities:
- Bring a strong understanding of end-to-end Mexican payroll processes and regulatory requirements
- Experience supporting payroll implementations, system conversions, integrations, process transformations, or major payroll technology initiatives.
- Partner with implementation teams to translate Mexico payroll requirements into system and process requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree: HR, Finance, MIS, BA
- 3+ years of payroll experience with significant exposure to Mexican payroll
- Strong working knowledge of Mexican payroll regulations and statutory requirements
- Experience participating in a payroll system implementation, conversion, migration, transformation, or major upgrade
- Experience with payroll testing, including UAT and/or parallel payroll validation
- Strong payroll reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate payroll business requirements into functional/system requirements
Hands-on experience with several of the following:
- IMSS
- INFONAVIT
- SAT
- ISR
- CFDI de Nomina
- Mexican statutory benefits and deductions
