Our Client Currently looking for Onboarding and Compliance Associate
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding Management: Execute the end-to-end client onboarding lifecycle, ensuring all internal and regulatory benchmarks are met.
Due Diligence: Perform comprehensive reviews of client documentation and resolve screening alerts (PEP/Sanctions) in a timely manner.
Remediation: Conduct periodic reviews and remediation of existing KYC files to ensure alignment with current regulatory standards.
Transaction Oversight: Monitor ongoing client activity and transactions to detect and escalate potential anomalies.
Treasury Operations: Facilitate the secure processing of client deposits, withdrawals and fee structures across both Fiat and Cryptocurrency assets.
Client Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact for sophisticated queries regarding funding and onboarding status.
Reporting: Synthesise and prepare data for internal audits and external regulatory reporting requirements.
Strategic Support: Assist the Head of Compliance with ad-hoc projects, policy updates and the continuous optimisation of compliance workflows.
Candidate Profile
Technical Proficiency: A robust understanding of AML, KYC and CTF principles within the UK regulatory landscape. While formal certification in these areas (e.g., ICA or ACAMS) is considered highly beneficial, it is not a mandatory requirement for candidates with commensurate practical experience.
Onboarding Experience: Proven experience in verifying diverse client profiles, including corporate entities and individuals.
Analytical Skills: Comfortable managing numerical data with high accuracy.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex regulatory requirements.
Operational Mindset: A proactive self-starter who demonstrates strong ownership and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
