Our Client is seeking a Software Engineer to support enterprise-level API engineering initiatives. This role will focus on designing, building, and maintaining scalable .NET-based APIs within a modern microservices architecture.This is a hands-on engineering role ideal for someone with strong backend development experience and exposure to cloud-native and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using .NET and C#
- Build scalable microservices-based applications
- Develop and support web applications and backend services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues
- Ensure high availability and scalability of systems
- Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
Strong experience with:
- .NET/C#
- RESTful API development
- Microservices architecture
- SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- JavaScript frameworks (Node.js, React, Angular, or Vue)
- Python
- Git version control
- Agile methodologies
Experience with:
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- CI/CD practices
- Application performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- Scalability and high availability design
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, EC2, S3, etc.)
- Understanding of serverless architecture
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- DevOps awareness and CI/CD pipeline familiarity
- Financial services or banking domain experience
Additional Information:
- Cloud experience is a plus but not required
