Linux Server Engineer (Trading Infrastructure)

Our Client Currently looking for Linux Server Engineer (Trading Infrastructure)

You will:

Manage virtual and hardware Linux servers (RedHat, Debian) in on-premise and cloud infrastructures in a 24×7 environment ensuring performance, reliability and safety requirements.
Work with open-source and our in-house software on Linux
Manage data collection and distribution infrastructure (load balancers, cloud providers, cloud storages, databases).
Implement automation as much as possible developing in Ansible and HashiCorp Terraform.
Be an expert in Linux servers and infrastructure software helping other teams troubleshoot performance and stability issues, participate in developing infrastructure solutions ensuring reliability and scalability.

What makes you a great fit:

Technical / Hard Skills:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field
5 years+ of experience with Linux OS (both RedHat- and Debian-based) and open-source software (Docker, HAProxy, Nginx, Bind9 etc)
Understanding the Linux kernel, especially network subsystem
Understanding the Linux service configuration and management
Experience with Linux performance analysis and turning for different scenarios
Scripting languages( Bash, Python, etc.) programming skills
Experience with monitoring and logging systems: Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Telegraf, InfluxDB, Graylog
Solid understanding of the functional and operational practices necessary to operate in a highly available environment to meet business requirements
Understanding of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) technologies
