Our Client Currently looking for Jr . Engineer – Mechanical

Roles Responsibilities

• Concept Design Ideation Assist in developing mechanical concepts for new product development Create 3D CAD models and 2D assembly/detail drawings Participate in design review meetings; incorporate feedback into revised models and drawings Evaluate design options against functional requirements, cost targets, and manufacturability constraints
• Prototyping Hands-on Build Fabricate or coordinate fabrication of mechanical prototypes Assemble sub-systems and components; identify and flag DFM/DFA issues observed during build Maintain workshop tools, prototype components, and assembly records in good order
• Testing Performance Validation Set up and execute mechanical and functional tests Record test parameters and results systematically; compare actuals against design targets Flag deviations and support root cause analysis and design correction under senior engineer guidance
• Engineering Documentation Prepare and maintain BOMs, assembly drawings, test reports, design review notes, and engineering change records Follow document control standards for version management and file naming conventions Compile and update product technical files for internal reference and external submissions
• Vendor Cross functional Coordination Communicate drawing requirements to fabrication vendors; follow up on prototype part delivery Collect technical datasheets and maintain a component/material database for RD use Coordinate with production and quality teams to clarify design intent during development cycles

Qualifications Competence

B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
