As the Head of Brand and Design, you will define the creative strategy and build a scalable brand system that supports business growth, customer engagement, and market differentiation. You will combine leadership, creative direction, and hands-on execution to establish a strong and consistent identity across every touchpoint.
- Own and evolve the brand identity, including visual systems, typography, color frameworks, illustration, iconography, motion, and brand guidelines.
- Lead the creative direction for all marketing initiatives, ensuring campaigns, advertising, social content, events, videos, and communications maintain a consistent and high-quality standard.
- Take ownership of the company website experience, driving design improvements, conversion-focused pages, and collaboration with marketing teams on growth initiatives.
- Create compelling product marketing assets, including launch materials, sales enablement content, demonstrations, and visual storytelling experiences.
- Establish a strong creative vision and serve as the internal authority for design quality, craftsmanship, and brand consistency.
- Partner with product, marketing, sales, and leadership teams to translate complex technology into clear, engaging, and differentiated customer experiences.
- Build and scale the creative organization by hiring designers, managing external partners, and creating effective workflows across teams.
- Develop impactful brand moments around company milestones, industry reports, announcements, and customer-facing initiatives.
- Continue designing directly while setting creative standards, providing feedback, and mentoring future team members.
- Improve production quality across digital, physical, and multimedia experiences, including motion and video content.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on brand leader with strong creative judgment, experience building recognizable brands, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable creating from the ground up while collaborating across multiple functions.
- 8+ years of experience in brand, design, or creative leadership roles with ownership of company-wide brand initiatives.
- Proven experience building or significantly evolving a recognizable brand, preferably within a design-focused technology company.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and grow creative teams, including hiring, mentoring, setting standards, and managing agencies or contractors.
- Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional taste, creative direction, and high-quality brand work across digital and physical experiences.
- Experience working in early-stage or high-growth environments where building systems from scratch is required.
- Hands-on design expertise with the ability to create, iterate, and deliver work independently.
- Strong understanding of digital design, product marketing, storytelling, motion, and visual communication.
- Ability to make complex or technical products feel accessible, engaging, and premium.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain creative decisions and provide actionable feedback.
- Advanced proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including motion design tools where applicable.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to balance creative ambition, business objectives, and execution priorities.
