Our Client is seeking a HCM Analyst.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the functional lead and Workday SME for HR during implementation & post-go-live activities
- Partner closely with HR leadership and SMEs to understand current processes, operational needs, compliance requirements, & organizational priorities
- Provide guidance on Workday leading practices & industry standards while ensuring solutions align with policies, & operational requirements
- Work with IT/Project Management & 3rd party implementation partner to facilitate requirements gathering, design workshops, process reviews, & decision-making sessions with HR stakeholders
- Develop functional expertise across Workday HCM modules
- Collaborate with implementation partners & internal teams to evaluate configuration options & recommend solutions that balance best practices with business needs
- Analyze existing HR processes & identify opportunities to improve efficiency, employee experience, compliance, reporting, & operational effectiveness
- Lead/coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation activities, issue resolution, & stakeholder feedback processes
- Support data review, cleansing, validation, & conversion activities related to employee, position, organizational, compensation, & workforce data
- Assist in the creation of training materials, support documentation, & communication plans
- Deliver training and facilitate knowledge transfer to HR staff, managers, supervisors, & employees
- Serve as a visible advocate & change champion to support organizational readiness & adoption of Workday
- Support development of HR reporting, workforce analytics, dashboards, & key performance indicators
- Monitor new Workday capabilities, recommend enhancements, & identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Support post-implementation stabilization, optimization, & adoption efforts to maximize the value of the Workday platform
Requirements
- Knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and employment regulations
- Understanding of talent management, workforce planning, compensation administration, and employee lifecycle processes
- Strong business process analysis and process improvement skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders and facilitate consensus among diverse groups
- Ability to lead change and promote adoption of new technology solutions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment
- Ability to serve as a trusted advisor and change agent, leveraging strong interpersonal skills, business process expertise, and Workday knowledge to build consensus, influence stakeholders, and support successful organizational adoption of new technologies and business processes
- Ability to learn and master new technologies quickly
