Our Client is seeking a GRC Solutions Architect for a remote role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as GRC Solutions Architect for AI governance and compliance initiatives
  • Own solution architecture from requirements through delivery
  • Translate regulatory, risk, and compliance needs into scalable technical solutions
  • Lead client architecture workshops with risk, compliance, data, and technology stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted advisor across governance, AI, and enterprise architecture

Enterprise GRC Architecture:

  • Lead architecture and implementation of enterprise GRC platforms, including OpenPages, ServiceNow GRC/IRM, RSA Archer, and MetricStream
  • Design and govern risk and control frameworks, workflows and approvals, issue management and remediation, and audit evidence, reporting, and dashboards
  • Align GRC solutions with enterprise risk and compliance operating models

Watson.gov & OpenPages:

  • Architects without Watson.gov experience will be enabled via training on OpenPages workflows, OpenScale model monitoring, and AI Factsheets
  • Apply existing GRC expertise to Watson.gov implementations
  • Contribute to Watson.gov reference architectures, patterns, and delivery playbooks

AI, MLOps & Model Risk Governance:

  • Partner with AI and platform teams to support governed model usage
  • Support model risk management, including validation, approvals, performance monitoring, drift, auditability, and documentation
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Platform Architect, or Lead Technical Architect
  • Strong client-facing consulting experience
  • Proven delivery in regulated enterprise environments
  • Hands-on leadership implementing enterprise GRC platforms (IBM OpenPages, ServiceNow GRC, Archer, MetricStream)
  • Experience supporting or governing AI, analytics, or model-enabled systems
  • Understanding of model lifecycle concepts and governance expectations

Deep understanding of:

  • Risk and control frameworks
  • Workflow and approval design
  • Audit reporting and evidence management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Watson.gov and/or OpenPages
  • Exposure to AI governance, model risk management, or responsible AI
  • MLOps, ML platform, or data governance experience
  • Background in financial services, government, healthcare, telecom, or energy

  • GRC and AI governance solutions that are audit-ready, scalable, and defensible
  • Strong alignment to IBM reference architectures and governance standards
  • Successful enablement on Watson.gov within 60-90 days
  • Increased solution architect capacity without compromising delivery quality
