As a Senior Program Manager, you will own one of the core components of the Tax Tech Acceleration portfolio, leading complex, high risk initiatives with material compliance and operational impact. You will work closely with senior leaders across Finance, Tax, Product and Technology, Revenue Operations, Payments and Financial Systems, acting as a strategic partner rather than a delivery coordinator.

  • You are accountable for end to end programme ownership, from governance design through execution and adoption. A key part of the role is raising programme management maturity across teams by defining ways of working, strengthening governance, and embedding sustainable business as usual processes.
Responsibilities
  • You take full accountability for delivery of the Tax Programme, leading multiple project managers responsible for country level activations.
  • You define and continuously improve programme scope, governance, interdependency management, risk frameworks, success metrics and stakeholder engagement models aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • You drive execution with pace and discipline, maintaining visibility on milestones, critical paths, risks and dependencies, and intervening proactively when issues arise.
  • You design and lead change management for initiatives with significant organisational impact, ensuring adoption is embedded from the start.
  • You act as a senior thought partner on portfolio prioritisation, sequencing and delivery capacity.
  • You identify structural inefficiencies across tax and compliance processes and own improvement initiatives end to end.
  • You represent the programme in senior governance forums including steering committees and executive reviews.
Required Skills and Experience
  • More than 12 years of experience delivering large scale cross functional programmes in global organisations.
  • Strong hands on experience with Finance and Tax technology implementations or large regulatory driven transformation programmes.
  • Proven ability to operate at senior individual contributor level in matrix organisations with influence without authority.
  • Expert knowledge of waterfall, agile and hybrid delivery models and the judgement to apply them appropriately.
  • Strong change management experience embedded within programme design.
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills up to VP and C suite level.
  • PMP, Prince2 Practitioner or MSP certification strongly preferred.
