Our Client Currently looking for Embedded Hardware Test Engineer
Key Responsibilities :
Hardware Validation & Testing :
– Conduct functional, performance, and reliability testing of hardware devices and embedded systems.
– Verify compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
Test Planning & Execution :
– Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for hardware components.
– Perform manual and automated hardware testing across different environments.
Defect Identification & Reporting :
– Detect, document, and track hardware defects using tools like JIRA or equivalent.
– Collaborate with hardware engineers and software teams to resolve issues.
Integration Testing :
– Validate hardware-software integration, ensuring seamless communication between devices and applications.
– Test firmware updates and drivers for compatibility and stability.
Performance & Stress Testing :
– Conduct load, endurance, and environmental testing (temperature, vibration, humidity).
– Ensure hardware meets safety and durability standards.
Documentation & Compliance :
– Maintain test documentation, reports, and certification records.
– Support audits and compliance checks (ISO, IEC, or other relevant standards).
Requirements :
– Experience : 2 to 5 years in hardware testing or embedded systems validation.
– Education : Bachelors degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Core Skills :
– Hardware validation and troubleshooting.
– Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and other test equipment.
– Knowledge of experience of testing embedded systems, microcontrollers, and firmware testing.
Preferred Skills :
– Exposure to automation frameworks for hardware testing (Python scripting for test automation).
– Experience with hardware-software integration testing.
– Understanding of communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet).
– Familiarity with Linux/Windows environments.
