Our Client is looking for a DevOps II to join their team . Hours can be flexible, though they typically work during regular weekly business hours, and they are not usually responsible for customer/client interaction or supervising junior employees.
Responsibilities:
- Support CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible) for Plume Open Sync Cloud and CBU-related updates
- Assist in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues across AWS infrastructure (EKS, EC2, S3, ALB, Route53)
- Help with scripting (Python, Bash), configuration management (Ansible, Terraform and deployment tasks
- Enhance monitoring and observability by supporting logging (Fluent Bit, Loki, ELK) and alerting (Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana) improvements
- Document processes and collaborate with senior engineers to gain hands-on experience with cloud-native DevOps tooling
- Responsible for the production and ongoing maintenance of a website platform
- Manage cloud infrastructure and system administration and work with teams to identify and repair issues on an as-needed basis
- May work with junior and senior engineers, project managers, and executives, as well as administrative assistants, executive assistants, and a receptionist
Requirements
- 1-4 years of experience
- Looking for someone with a bit more hands-on DevOps experience who can ramp quickly with minimal day-to-day guidance if possible
- Python proficiency
- Some Kubernetes knowledge (Helm, YAML)
- Terraform required, Ansible is a nice-to-have
- Strong sense of ownership and problem-solving mindset
- Generally expected to work well under pressure with tight deadlines for certain tasks, and a proactive demeanor and friendly disposition are also helpful
