Our Client is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer on behalf of a major telecommunications .This is a high-impact role focused on building and managing scalable cloud infrastructure within a modern AWS environment. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about infrastructure as code, automation, and cloud architecture. The role is heavily infrastructure-focused and not centered on data engineering or ETL work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform
- Support and scale AWS services across a distributed environment
- Manage and maintain data lake infrastructure (primarily S3) to ensure accessibility
- Implement infrastructure as code best practices (no manual console usage)
- Contribute to and enhance CI/CD pipelines
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (multiple years preferred)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab or similar)
- Proven ability to operate at a senior level and work independently
Deep knowledge of AWS, including:
- EKS (Kubernetes)
- Lambda
- S3
- IAM
- Networking (critical)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python
- Familiarity with Kubernetes environments
- Exposure to bare metal infrastructure
