Responsibilities

Market Expansion & Payment Solution Sourcing

• Identify and secure payment solutions across MENA and African markets that align with merchant and commercial requirements.
• Expand regional payment coverage in line with business growth objectives.
• Analyse local payment ecosystems to identify coverage gaps, emerging payment methods, and commercial opportunities.
• Monitor regulatory developments and licensing changes that may impact payment provider availability.

Provider Evaluation & Commercial Partnerships

• Lead negotiations with payment service providers, local acquirers, payment institutions, and mobile money operators.
• Assess providers based on commercial terms, geographic coverage, settlement capabilities, pricing, and operational performance.
• Structure commercial agreements that support long-term business objectives and profitability.
• Maintain a competitive overview of payment providers across the region.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, Legal, Compliance, Sales, and Account Management teams.
• Support the onboarding, integration, and launch of new payment partners.
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on regional payment capabilities and market developments.
• Represent the business at industry conferences, networking events, and meetings with payment partners.
