Our Client Currently looking for Database Engineer

Mandatory Skill Set :

– AWS(RDS)

– Aurora PostgreSQL (Global, Serverless, etc.)(Very strong)

– MongoDB(Good to have)

– Scripting Skills (Python/ Shell), Terraform, Jenkins, Bitbucket/GitHub

Key Responsibilities :

– Work in Agile/Scrum environment with global teams

– Manage, monitor & troubleshoot database systems

– Optimize database performance and tuning

– Implement :

1. High availability

2. Replication

3. Clustering solutions

– Support DR drills & backup strategies

– Perform database refreshes (On-prem & Cloud)

– Set up data replication across :

1. PostgreSQL / Aurora

2. Data Lake

3. SQL Server

4. Azure Synapse

5. Redshift

– Support application releases & DB deployments

– Collaborate with developers (stored procedures optimization)

– Troubleshoot real-time production issues

– Maintain documentation & SOPs

– Ensure 24×7 availability & participate in on-call rotation

– Follow security, patching, and upgrade standards

Cloud & Database Technologies :

– AWS (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB)

– Aurora PostgreSQL (Global, Serverless)

– MongoDB

– Neo4j

Programming / Scripting :

– Python

– Shell Scripting

– DevOps & Tools

– Terraform

– Jenkins

– Bitbucket / GitHub
