Our Client Currently looking for Database Administrator – PostgreSQL

What were looking for :

– Good understanding of PostgreSQL, MongoDB and/or MySQL Architecture.

– Understanding of installing and administering PostgreSql, MongoDB and/or MySQL Server databases.

– Must have hands-on experience in Linux.

– Understanding of tuning and optimising PostgreSql MongoDB and/or MySQL Server databases.

– Understanding of query execution and optimization.

– Good to have understanding of DB cluster setup for postgreSQL, MongoDB and/or MySQL.

– Understanding on logical replication setup and change data capture.

– Good to have experience on any CDC tool setup in a streaming environment.

– Good to have understanding on AWS, RDS and Aurora.

– Understanding of database backups and recovery.

– Having knowledge of Data Warehouse is a plus.

– Good communication skills.

– Experience working in teams.

What youll be doing :

– Maintain security posture of database

– Set and maintain database standards

– Manage database access

– Performance tuning of database systems

– Install, upgrade, and manage database applications

– Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors

– Recommend and implement emerging database technologies

– Create and manage database reports, visualisations, and dashboards

– Create automation for repeating database tasks

– Be available for on-call support as needed
