Our client is seeking a seasoned Controller to serve as the company’s most senior dedicated accounting leader, reporting directly to the VP of Finance & Commercial Strategy. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of the entire accounting function, design scalable processes, and partner closely with executive leadership while supporting a rapidly growing, technology-driven business. In this highly visible role, you will lead all aspects of accounting operations, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, financial reporting, general ledger management, and US GAAP compliance. You will be the subject matter expert for complex revenue recognition across subscription, transaction-based, partnership, and affiliate revenue streams, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and advising leadership on the accounting implications of strategic business decisions. This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys both strategic leadership and hands-on execution. As the organization grows, you will have the opportunity to build and mentor an accounting team while serving as a trusted advisor to Finance, FP&A, Revenue Operations, Engineering, HR, and executive leadership. You’ll play a critical role in shaping accounting policies, evaluating new business initiatives, supporting international expansion, and presenting key financial insights to senior stakeholders.
