The Business Intelligence Analyst will design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into utility usage, billing trends, and cost optimization across customer portfolios. This role involves gathering requirements from internal stakeholders, translating business needs into data models, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency across BI tools. The analyst will perform exploratory and ad hoc analysis, identify patterns and anomalies, and partner with product, operations, and customer success teams to inform decision-making. The role also includes monitoring key performance indicators, documenting analytical processes, and continuously improving reporting and analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data sets and present clear, concise insights.
• Experience with data modeling and structuring data for reporting, analytics, and decision support.
• Proficiency in creating dashboards and visualizations that communicate metrics and trends effectively.
• Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
• Background in business analysis, including gathering requirements and translating business questions into analytical solutions.
• Strong skills in SQL and familiarity with relational databases; experience with cloud data warehouses is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in SaaS, fintech, utilities, or real estate technology is beneficial.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
