The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and expanding the company’s dealer, distributor, installer, and specialty retail network .
This role is focused on channel development, partner activation, and new application growth across mobile energy, RV, marine, off-grid, and special vehicle markets.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on commercial professional with strong experience in B2B channel sales, distributor management, and dealer network development. They should be comfortable building business from the ground up, identifying new opportunities, and working closely with local partners to increase market coverage and sell-out performance.
Key Responsibilities

  •  Identify, recruit, onboard, and activate new local dealers, installers, specialty retailers, and channel partners.
  • Work closely with distributors to improve channel penetration, increase dealer coverage, and drive stronger sell-out performance.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline, covering both new partner acquisition and growth of existing channel accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities and application scenarios, including RV, caravan, campervan, marine, off-grid systems, special vehicles, and mobile energy solutions.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets, with a strong focus on channel efficiency, regional coverage, and sustainable sell-through growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing movements, and emerging customer needs across Eastern Europe.
  • Translate market insights into practical channel development plans, product feedback, and go-to-market recommendations.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to support partner enablement, including product training, POS materials, local campaigns, and trade show activities.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, dealer events, exhibitions, and industry networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate new business leads.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, partner updates, pipeline reports, and market intelligence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally with a strong background in channel sales, distributor management, or dealer network development.
  • Proven experience developing new channels, recruiting dealers, and growing partner networks across regional markets.
  • Strong understanding of sell-in and sell-out dynamics within distributor, dealer, installer, or retailer channels.
  • Experience in solar, energy storage, battery systems, inverters, automotive electronics, RV accessories, marine electronics, or off-grid power solutions would be highly relevant.
  • Familiarity with Eastern European markets and local channel structures, especially Poland.
  • Experience selling into RV, caravan, campervan, marine, off-grid, special vehicle, or mobile energy applications would be a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated track record in new business development, not only existing account management.
  • Strong negotiation, commercial, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a regional role.
  • Fluent English is required. Polish language skills would be a strong plus.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the region, up to 50%.
  • Existing network within solar, RV aftermarket, off-grid energy, marine, or regional distribution channels would be highly desirable.
