Our Client is seeking a Business Analyst (Financial).
Responsibililties:
- Lead a core project initiative end to end, including requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, and delivery oversight
- Support 1 to 2 concurrent technology reviews and enhancement efforts, providing analysis, documentation, and recommendations
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to support procurement transformation and facilities-related initiatives
- Translate complex business needs, particularly within financial domains, into clear functional and technical requirements
- Contribute to Agile transformation efforts, while operating effectively in a primarily Waterfall-based environment
- Facilitate requirements sessions, stakeholder meetings, and solution walkthroughs
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, and system specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams responsible for enhancements, production support, and system/documentation management
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with senior-level ownership of projects
- Strong financial services or finance-related domain knowledge
- Proven experience working in Waterfall environments, with adaptability to Agile methodologies
- Experience leading projects or serving in a lead BA capacity, or clear readiness to step into a leadership role
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Technical Skills
- Experience with Power BI for reporting and data visualization
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation
- Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem tools (Azure, Office 365, DevOps preferred)
